The new ceramic floor tile series Toblin of Agrob Buchtal was inspired by the varied surface textures of the Tuscan marble Grigio Crux. Combined with the signs of alabaster, which are discreetly reflected in the marble look, a soft ceramic interpretation of the natural stone has been created. New square large formats support the design language and effect a superior, timeless look.
The new collection Toblin conveys expressive naturalness, but also modern elegance. The focus is on the special characteristics of marble such as, for example, the typical veinings, which are expressed by subtle graphic interpretations. By combining two extraordinary looks, namely decorative marble and silky-glossy alabaster, the unglazed porcelain stoneware series is given a quite distinctive stylistic expressiveness with timeless exclusiveness. Toblin presents the striking veinings of natural marble in an unobtrusive manner; the surface appears soft and deep at the same time.
New square large formats
To provide space for the varied design facets of this series, Agrob Buchtal chose the two new square large formats of 80 x 80 and 120 x 120 centimetres. In conjunction with the colours Pearl, Fossil, Moon and Pebble, they create a superior, timeless look. The subtly matched shades permit noble combinations with each other, but also with other materials.
The combination of large-size tiles made of high-quality porcelain stoneware with a material thickness of only 6 millimetres is another special feature of the new series. In this way, Toblin offers attractive possibilities for new buildings and renovation projects - but as always, professional laying is the basic requirement. Thanks to slip-resistance category R9, these advantages can also be used for public areas requiring an appropriate slip resistance.
Unglazed porcelain stoneware tiles of Agrob Buchtal are hard-wearing and robust by nature. Thanks to the “Protecta“ surface upgrading already applied at the factory, these advantages are even further improved. This special upgrading is ceramically bonded to the biscuit during the firing process and closes the existing “micropores“ quite natural for unglazed ceramics. The penetration of substances forming stains is effectively prevented in this way. Therefore, a time-consuming subsequent impregnation is no longer required.
Designed as explicit floor series, Toblin is - in the true sense of the word - the basis for individual “living worlds” with modern elegance.
