Schwarzenfeld. In a festive setting at the Ziegelhütte in Schwandorf, numerous Agrob Buchtal employees were honored for their long service to the company. The ceremony recognized the commitment, expertise, and loyalty of the anniversary celebrants, who contribute significantly to the success and stability of the location.
Plant manager Josef Messmann conveyed the congratulations of the management and emphasized the central role that experienced employees play in the company's performance. At the same time, he highlighted the positive development of the site: "In 2025, Agrob Buchtal will produce around one million square meters of tiles and facade panels, which will be used worldwide from the plant in Schwarzenfeld."
With regard to the company's recent development, Messmann emphasized that the takeover by Meta Wolf AG after the insolvency in 2024 opens up completely new opportunities. The realignment provides the basis for sustainable growth and transformation – including the clear goal of establishing the "green tile" as the standard for the future.
Works council chairman Atas Sükrü also praised the long-standing loyalty of the award-winning employees: "I am very pleased that we have the opportunity today to honor our long-standing colleagues – people who have been part of this company for 25, 40, or 50 years. With regard to the new developments in the company, he added: "Since last year, we have had a new investor who has brought a breath of fresh air and new opportunities. Change always brings challenges, but with a strong workforce like the one we have here, we can look to the future with confidence."
The event made it clear that Agrob Buchtal is well positioned thanks to a dedicated workforce, innovative impetus from the new owner, and a clear strategy for the future. Experience and team spirit remain the cornerstones for solid further development at the Schwarzenfeld site.
